The National Weather Service issued a report at 5:13 a.m. on Sunday for dense fog until 8 a.m. for Chenango, Otsego and Delaware counties.
"Areas of dense fog has developed across the area this morning with visibility at a half mile or less. This includes portions of I88. Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. If driving and you encounter dense fog, slow down, use your low-beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. The fog is expected to dissipate by around 9 a.m.," according to the weather service.
