The Flydubai cockpit attack investigation has uncovered alleged al-Qaeda radicalisation links involving Omani co-pilot Hamam Alhamami. Reports say he had extremist concerns raised during his Oman Air career and allegedly intended to crash Flight FZ1073 in Israel before Captain Smit Machchhar and passengers intervened.
